What is Crohn's disease and colitis?
Nearly 200,000 Canadian men, women and children have Inflammatory Bowel Disease which describes two similar, yet distinct, conditions called Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. These diseases affect the digestive system and cause the intestinal tissue to become inflamed, form sores, and bleed easily. Symptoms can be extremely painful and disrupt lives. Research is being done to find a cure. In 2007, CCFC raised and donated $6.6 million toward this research.
When and where is Fun Day?
10am–4pm, Saturday, July 18, at Braefoot Park (See map below). Admission is free. No registration required. All ages welcome!
